Can I schedule a tour?
We require appointments for hosted venue tours allowing you to tour the space and ask questions specific to your event. If you would like to see the venue in general, the spaces are open for viewing when the rooftop Satellite Bar is open if you would like to stop by and see the spaces without a hosted tour.

Do you provide rentals or charge a rental fee?
We provide tables, chairs, service ware, and white linens however you are welcome to bring in outside rental items.
An additional rental fee is not charged for our in-house items.
What happens if it rains?
For events hosted on the rooftop, a backup space is provided. The main bar area is also covered at Satellite Bar allowing for events with a full rooftop buyouts to still enjoy the rooftop will also have additional indoor backup space.
Is parking available to guests?
Guest parking is available in the AME Brown Church parking lot after 5:00 pm. For more information regarding parking please visit Location and Parking.
On Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings King Street is closed to traffic from Spring Street to John Street from 7:00 pm to 3:00 am. No street parking is permitted on King Street during those hours.
Do you have an elevator?
Yes, there is a elevator that provides guest access to all three levels of the building.
What type music is permitted?
The Wilkinson Room and the Walnut Bar have their own sound systems. Personalized music can be played in the Wilkinson Room and Walnut Bar. Approved DJs and bands are also permitted in the Wilkinson Room and the Walnut Bar.
At the rooftop Satellite Bar amplified music and DJs are not permitted. Musicians can play on the rooftop, upon approval, at a respectful level to our neighbors. Music is also played throughout the rooftop speakers and for events reserving the full rooftop Satellite Bar, your choice of music can be played.
Is smoking permitted on the rooftop?
Smoking is strictly prohibited; smoking is not permitted on the rooftop at Satellite Bar.
Are children allowed on the rooftop?
The rooftop bar is 21+ after 9:00 pm however children are allowed in the event space, during a hosted private event.
How do I book my event?
To reserve your event and date, a signed contract is required. A deposit of 20% of your food and beverage minimum is required and will be applied to your final balance.
Do you charge a rental fee?
We do not charge a rental fee for hosting events. There is a food and beverage minimum for hosted events that is required to be met prior to tax, service charge and gratuity.
Do you charge a credit card processing fee?
A 3% processing fee applies to all credit card transactions.
